Ownersite & Twitter
Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?
Using Twitter, you can add fuel records to your Ownersite account by simply sending a short, properly formatted message from your Twitter account directly to Ownersite using the following format:

Ownersite will reply by sending a direct message back to your Twitter account confirming whether or not the record was added successfully, or if there were any errors in formatting, as well as add an icon to your fuel record display that indicates the record was added via Twitter. If the tweet was rejected as a result of formatting errors, it will not be imported.
In order to get started, if you do not already have one, go ahead and create your Twitter account at http://twitter.com.
If you already have a Twitter account, go to Ownersite's Account Settings section and click on the "Account Information" tab. From there, click on the "Edit Information" link and update your account to include your Twitter ID.
Finally, select one of the vehicles you track using Ownersite and assign it a unique nickname for use with Twitter. To do this, go to the "Vehicle Details" section and click on the "Preferences" tab.
Because this nickname cannot contains any spaces or special characters, we cannot use the standard nickname you may already be using for this vehicle.
Save the vehicle information and you are ready to start Tweeting fuel records to Ownersite!
