Ownersite Technologies Appoints Fleet Industry and It Expert Van Williams to Its Advisory Board
Roswell, GA – August 21, 2013 – Ownersite Technologies has appointed Van Williams to its advisory board. In this role, Williams will leverage his more than 25 years of fleet industry and information technology experience to shape Ownersite’s strategy and provide advice on leveraging the opportunities in the company’s various markets, including fleet management, automotive service provides, credit unions and consumers, to grow its base of customers who are seeking digital solutions for their record keeping and maintenance.

Recently, Williams was the Global CIO for FleetCor where he helped to launch their new strategic platform in multiple countries, complete five acquisitions, migrate the largest fuel card business in the UK and land several significant accounts and partnerships. Prior to that, he was divisional CIO for Fiserv, staying on after the company purchased his previous employer, CheckFree. His other experience includes a stint with SSI where he served as chief architect, developer, and quality assurance manager, installing the product and working directly with customers.
Williams has applied his extensive technical knowledge to achieve results for complex product development environments, developing strong talent and transforming businesses from small firms to large multinational organizations. Williams also has expertise in software development methodologies, including waterfall, RUP, and Agile, to launch products that ranged from insurance claims system to banking and loyalty cards, document management solutions, and workflow systems.
