Steve Eppinger
Founder & CEO
Steve Eppinger is the founder and CEO. He has been in the online automotive world for more than 18 years. It was shortly after purchasing a new vehicle in 1996 that he created a social network that would ultimately become F150online.com, a site that at its peak drew nearly 500k unique visitors per month. In April 2007, Internet Brands purchased the site from Steve for more than 12x earnings and his exclusive focus then became Ownersite.
Joseph Matte
Chief Technology Officer
Joseph Matte is the Chief Technology Officer. His professional career has included time with major defense contractors General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin Aerospace, advancing into consulting roles for Public Utility companies Georgia Power and Oglethorpe Power. Joseph was also a founding member and eventual CTO of an Insurance Processing company, deploying a web-based solution servicing Agencies and MGAs across a wide range of products. Until joining Ownersite, Joseph directed technology initiatives for an HVAC service company responsible for a fleet of 200+ vehicles.
Van Williams
Advisory Board
Van Williams was the Global CIO for FleetCor where he helped to launch their new strategic platform in multiple countries, complete five acquisitions, migrate the largest fuel card business in the UK and land several significant accounts and partnerships. Prior to that, he was divisional CIO for Fiserv, staying on after the company purchased his previous employer, CheckFree. His other experience includes a stint with SSI where he served as chief architect, developer, and quality assurance manager, installing the product and working directly with customers.
John Albers

Throughout his career, John has been admired and recognized for bringing out the best in people. He is an engaging and inspirational leader that connects with people authentically. Mr. Albers is an accomplished public speaker with a keen ability to communicate the essence of a business issue. Senator Albers has long been an active member of his community serving on numerous corporate, charitable and civic based organization boards Bottom line, John Albers gets results.
Senator Albers earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Louisville. Albers also graduated from the University of Georgia, Legislative Leadership Institute. When not attending to state business, Senator Albers is an executive, business owner and entrepreneur. He and his wife, Kari of 21 years, have two sons: Will and Ryan living in Roswell and are members of Roswell United Methodist Church.
